Silver Thimble competition
The silver thimble competition is held every year for a different patchwork and quilting theme.
The theme for 2022 is a small wall hanging (9"x 12") to commemorate the Queen's platinum jubilee.
The silver thimble is awarded at the A.G.M. in October to the entrant who has the most votes from all the members present.
The competition allows all types of patchwork and quilting to compete on an equal basis. Entries must be anonymous. The rules are:
The entrant must be a member of Nottingham Patchwork Group.
The entry should have been finished since 1st January in the year of the competition.
Only one entry per person.
All members present on the date of the competition have one vote, this includes the entrants.
The prize is a silver thimble' and voucher presented to the entry with the most votes.
